Sungrove Barbecue
Narrative
Although a full narrative was created, here is a simplified version of the story we seek to tell at Sungrove barbecue. A long time ago, the cortez family citrus farm was starting to lose customers due to the new highway construction. To compete with tourist culture, they decided to shift their business structure, turning into a famous roadside attraction featuring arthur, the 20 ton gator. with the creation of city walk, they refused to sell their land, and opened sungrove barbecue, featuring great grandpa victor's classic recipes. pictured here are a few environmental vignettes that hint towards the story we are telling.

Our menu features barbecue options that are inspired by the many flavors of florida and the Caribbean islands. it integrates these flavors into classic barbecue options making something that is not only extremely approachable, but also unique to not only city walk, but also to barbecue as a whole. these offerings sweet aromas, mixed with a highly themed environment will capture people's attention and make this area a new hotspot in city walk as a whole.
Interior
Our exterior is extremely self made, it utilizes hand painted signage, layers of decor, and remnants of the cortez families' previous businesses.

Storm Chasers
Narrative
Although a full narrative was created, here is a simplified version of the story we seek to tell at Storm chasers. A rag tag team of college students have taken to the hobby of storm chasing. using whatever tools they have at their disposal, they use their heavily modified van to chase storms and harness these weather system's energies to create drinks. pictured here are a few environmental vignettes that hint at this story.
Menu
Our menu features dirty sodas inspired by different weather phenomenas. each drink is meant to be highly instagramable and themed to create a highly entertaining food experience that takes advantage of the highly popular dirty soda concept. each drink also has a recommended alcohol that, with an up charge, can "chase" their drink. This makes everything highly approachable for all age ranges and makes for a highly modular fast service kiosk location.
exterior
Our exterior is a reconstructed old van for the use of storm chasing. this van has clearly just gotten back from a mission, and is in need of maintenance. all done by college students, you can see the seams of their repairs, as well as hints at their personal lives.
