Music from the backseat of my dad's truck
I made a playlist of dad rock, and I have a personal connection to listening to this kind of music from the back of my dad's truck, thus the title. I took inspiration from similar albums from the late 80s that seemed to have been designed square, then forced into this format because they were making both vinyls, cds and cassettes. the image i made is a message about masculinity, with stereotypical male motifs like angry driving, bud classic, and cigarettes. I also included a nod to creeds album human clay, that appears as the road that this character is driving down.

My music taste is so underground
I made this playlist to poke fun at my girlfriend that claims to have a very obscure music taste, but when she says what bands they like, it's always something very well known. So I made a playlist of a mix of indie artists that people claim to be very underground. As far as the design, i wanted something a different color because so far i have a lot of dark colors in my tapes, and the pink matches the message quite well. i used a simplified version of brutalist graphic design, which i feel is very in right now, and also matches the message of trying to be different while also conforming to social norms.

Main character of a 90s comedy
For this playlist i looked up a bunch of different 90s comedy movies and complied them together. This created a mix of alt-rock and punk for the overall feel of the mix. For the design i wanted to do an illustration similar to 90s art such as rat fink and the circle jerks logo which mixed well with the typography that i've used for quite a while. I feel like this gives it a very punk look and matches the vibes of the playlist.
